This incident happened in the presentation party today. In today’s match, Mohammed Shami was declared as the man of the match. He took 3 wickets at the crucial time. The first wicket which he took was in his first over. This was of Colin Munro. This wicket was very important as India wanted to break the partnership.
The second wicket was of Ross Taylor. Taylor was playing very well. He was on 93 when Shami bowled him out with karthik catch.
The third wicket was on Ish Sodhi. He was out catch Kohli bowled Shami.
Shami was declared as the man of the match in India Vs New Zealand 3rd ODI. This is the second consecutive man of the match by Mohammed Shami.
In the post-match presentation, Mohammed Shami said “It’s really difficult to bowl against the wind. One comes with the wind and the other is against the wind. It is difficult but not too hard. Bhuvi at the other end was also a great help. Sticking to areas where we want to bowl is the key”.
Simon was impressed with Shami’s English and said “Your English Bahut acha. (Your English is very good)”.
